i don't hate guys. really i don't. i just don't always relate to them. i'm not good at any kind of personal confrontations, but i guess it's easier with people i have a lot invested in (family and girl friends) than it is with my boyfriend or with other random date type people. or if not easier, i guess i tend to make more effort with friends and family. family is family. that is a defined relationship, a forever relationship. girl friends are friends. whether they are forever friends, acquaintances, casual friends, whatever, there again, you know that's what they are.

guys are a whole different story. there are way too many categories for them to fall into. i guess that makes me uncomfortable.

but i'm working on it.
