i keep starting to write a new post, getting a sentence or three in, and being so bored by my own words that i can't keep going.

oh well

i've just been reading a lot of criticism for blogs. bloggers are wasting their time, they have nothing important to say or do, they use horrible language and grammar...and on and on.

true, i can see that my writing style has changed (a lot) since i started blogging. my spelling certainly has gotten worse, and i'm ignoring rules of sentence structure. however, it has really freed me up to just say what i want to say, without being constrained. its theraputic.

i admire all you people who blog every single day. i admire the way you can turn one aimless thought into paragraphs of entertainment. i admire the discipline you show in posting when you're sick, posting when you're tired, posting when you have nothing to say.

i'm going to be just like you when i grow up.
