ACCK..UMMM..HMMM..AHH..AHUH

ackkk.. i hate it when i have thoughts that flee my brain the minute i try to sort them out into a nice little post. i know i had something interesting to say. what the heck was it?

ummm.. wait. oh, yeah. nope, that one's not fit for a public post. i don't want to either offend someone or live with the shame of knowing the wrong person read something i wouldn't necessarily want them to see. i'm kind of silly that way.

hmmm.. well, i went to the mall this morning after church. so i'm in the mall, and the stores are about ten minutes away from opening, and i'm walking around and aimlessly looking at store windows. along comes a mentally challenged individual (passing no judgement, just saying) walking in the opposite direction. i notice that he's looking at me, but i'm not all that bothered by it, because hey, it's a mall. people watch other people. whatever. however, he actually stops and stares and then whistles at me. you know the two note construction worker "heyy baby, you're looking fine" whistle? mmk, a little creepy, but i laughed and continued on, paying no more notice to him. until about ten yards down the mall, when i discover he is now following me. i turn around and cross to the other side of the mall and pretend to be looking in those store windows, and about a minute later, he also crosses to the other side about a store's length behind me. now i'm a little uncomfortable. i zip quickly back into the coffee place and then slip out the other side, and sneak toward the restrooms, losing him in the process. (i'm a spy in training, i tell you.)

ahh..by the time i come out, the stores are open, and i do a little browsing and then head down the mall again, and there he is! once again, he turns to follow me. so i go into victoria's secret, because that seems to be a logical thing to do when some creepy guy is following you through the mall. i'm still pretty concerned, until i come back out, and notice that he is still following me, but now a group of other mentally challenged individuals are not-so-stealthily following him! they are obviously trying to figure out what he is up to without him knowing what THEY are up to. at that point, it ceased to be creepy and started to be very funny.

ahuh.. all in all, it pretty much made my day.
